An interactive museum experience that works to educate individuals on the effects of brain trauma

Axon: One long cable that every neuron has that snakes away from the main part of the cell.
Electrical impulses from the neuron travel away through this cable to be received by other neurons.

Shown above are the outer panels that provide information about brain trauma and how it can impact behavior, thought, and development. It also includes individual case studies of people who suffered from brain trauma and the different ways it impacted their lives.

The exhibit is an open-concept floor
plan that allows viewers to choose their own path. The experience consists of four panels that are arranged in a circle with gaps between each to allow people to walk through easily.

The inside of the exhibit consists of various activities that correspond with their outer parts. In order to simulate the different ways in which a person can be affected by brain trauma there are games such as memory testing, physical movement simulation, and behavioral decision making.
