Nion is a Sodium-ion Battery brand that prioritizes sustainability above all else. The product itself as well as the packaging are made from sustainable, non-toxic materials that aim to reduce the impact on our environment. Our brand ensures the batteries we create are long-lasting and rechargeable which reduces battery waste and cost.
Sodium is an inexpensive and abundant resource, that can be mined ethically and sustainably. Using sodium in batteries will not only make batteries cheaper but it will also cut down on the toxic chemicals (lithium) that are used to create them. The material can be recycled regularly; no special disposal is required.
We provide a variety of packages such as an 8-pack of AA batteries which includes a 4-bay charger, and a 6-pack of AA batteries. All our products connect to the app where you can monitor your battery charging status, order new products and learn more about the brand.
The Brand Identity
The name Nion comes from the scientific name for Sodium-ion which is NA-ion. In my designs, I utilized a shade of Prussian blue to reference the color of the compound Fennac, which is a powder substance that helps Sodium-ion batteries function efficiently.
